Abstract

This collection of nineteen selected writings of Franca Arduini – originally published on Italian and foreign journals, conference proceedings and exhibition catalogues – offers interesting suggestions on the history of Italian libraries, on their historical collections, on librarians’ training and education and – last but not least – on how the Italian library non-system could be reconstructed.
