Archaeological and book heritage one century after World War One

Abstract

The paper gives an account of the conference “Archaeological and book heritage during World War One: instruments for an Italian public memory one century after” (University of Urbino, May 6^th, 2015). The conference was an opportunity for scholars in different fields to meet and discuss about the same topic, trying to delineate a portrait as accurate as possible of World War One, and of the deep wound that was inflicted to the whole country.
