Abstract

The article takes its cue from two recent monographs that fall within the spectrum of digital humanities, both published by Editrice bibliografica (Milan): Oltre il libro: forme di testualità e digital humanities by Federico Meschini (2020) and Organizzare la conoscenza: digital humanities e web semantico: un percorso tra archivi, biblioteche e musei by Francesca Tomasi (2022).
The article dwells on the links between memory institutions, book and document disciplines and the ‘potential’ that can arise from projects conceived and developed in the digital environment.
