Abstract

The article describes the reorganization process of the public library network and the role of the project of the new Central Library as a driver for the strategic rethinking of the branch Libraries, for the redefinition of the vision and for the planning of services and activities. The process is founded on the role of the library in promoting urban regeneration and wellbeing. Particular attention is dedicated to the presentation of the process and his its impact on the repositioning of the public library network.
